From 2 to 3

Sometimes when you are waiting for something it seems like the day will never come! That's how we both felt when we were waiting for a child! I'm still amazed that the day came and we are officially parent's! It has been one of the greatest joys in our life to welcome Isaiah into our family! He is a constant reminder to us of how infinite the Father's love is for us! Everytime I look at him I can't help but think how faithful God is to His children even when we deserve nothing of such joy in our lives. He poured down His blessings once again in our lives through this little tiny person and we are still in awe that He allowed us this opportunity!

Last time I updated Isaiah was about 5 days old! Now he is 9 weeks and 2 days old! Time kinda flies by! We write a letter once a month for the first 3 months to his birth parents to update them so it has helped me keep track of all the changes he has been going through! So here is what he has been up to over the last 2 months of his little life!

Month 1:
Weight and Height: At his one month check-up he weighed in 7lbs 15oz and 20.5inches! He was in the 15th percentile for weight! Skinny little booger!

Eating Habits: Eats every 3 hours and is still taking Similac Sensitive. Spits up all the time! He makes the smacking sound with his lips when we take the bottle from him to burp him and he even lets out a mad little squeal at times!

Sleeping: He is a great little sleeper and he can sleep through just about anything! He only wakes up about every 3 to 4 hours to eat at night! He grunts and makes little sounds all night long! It is a very comforting sound to hear! He sleeps in a bassinet beside our bed!

Pacy or Thumb: Pacy! He still uses the hospital pacy and refuses to use anything else!

Clothes: He can still wear his newborn clothes but they are getting short on the arms and legs! His 0-3 month clothes are too big because he is skinny!!

Favorite Activities: Bathtime, Eating, Cuddling and going for walks!

Baby First: He had his first spend the night party at his G’Maw and P’Paw’s house.

Month 2:
Weight and Height: At his two month check-up he weighed in at 9lbs 9oz and 22 1/4inches! He slipped down into the 5th percentile for weight! Gotta get that up if he is going to win the Heisman!

Eating Habits: Eats every 3 to 4 hours and still takes Similac Sensitive! Spits up all over the place (this is the cause of his low weight) and gets mad as can be when we take the bottle away to burp him!

Sleeping: He still sleeps in his bassinet in our room but will be moving the crib soon! He has a sporadic sleep pattern so some nights its 3 hours and some nights its longer!

Pacy or Thumb: Still taking that greenish blue hospital pacy and loves if you stick your thumb in that hole to help him hold it in!

Clothes: He made the move! He is wearing 0-3 month but they are still big on his waist!

Favorite Activities: Bathtime, Swinging, Walks, Eating, Cuddling and playing on his adeventure gym! He loves the flashing lights with music and kicking and punching his arms and legs!

Baby First: He had his first ear infection which didn't bother him too much and he went on his very first beach trip with his mommy, great gremaw, Aunt Kristi, G-Maw and P-Paw. Daddy had to stay home and work.
