Five years ago on August 29 I was getting ready, frantically trying to pick out an outfit, making sure my hair and make-up were perfect and pacing back and forth as I waited for the arrival of my date! For a moment I thought I had been stood up...my date was late but I soon learned that would never change! He is always late! :) He came to the door and he was wearing it...that belt...that Alabama belt buckle! Oh boy! With I might add a red lacoste polo, seer sucker shorts and loafers...what a combination but that's my husband! That night, in his unconventional Daniel Poe fashion, he swept me off my feet and stole my heart!
Five years later I love him now more than ever. He is the best husband I could have ever dreamed of! He loves the Lord above everything else this world could offer. He is a man of character and honor. He is patient, kind, understanding. He loves our son with everything in him. He is committed to raising our children to know the Lord and praying for their salvation daily. He treats me with the utmost respect and makes me feel like a princess! He values his family and the time we spend together. The Lord has blessed me beyond words being married to my best friend! I can't wait for many many more years with him!
