Oh Baby

Just when we thought life settled into some normalcy we got a call. A call that made us stop in our tracks and wonder which step was next. What should we do, what do we think, is this the right move for our family, are we ready for this and so forth. At first we thought no way, we can't, we aren't ready but then we were reminded it's not about us...it doesn't matter if we are ready, if we can handle it. If this is what we should do then the Lord will work out all the what if's and how to's and what next's.

The call was from our agency. The agency we adopted Isaiah through. Isaiah's birth mom is pregnant. She is about 3 months or so which would put our kiddo's about 10 months apart! Yes, I said our kiddos, plural. If the Lord wills it then in February we will be adopting again...this will be Isaiah's biological sibling.

There are many obstacles standing in our way. We will never have enough money in the bank, enough time for it all, all the right answers, etc but we want to give this child a life full of love, family and a Savior. We want Isaiah to grow up with his biological sibling. We want this child to be our child. We are praying for many many things through our next adoption journey and the Lord's hand to be present every step of the way. We can't do this but the Lord can. He can provide a way, the means to make it possible and remove every obstacle standing between us and our child. We are trusting that He will.

We would love your prayers as we journey through this next adoption!
